A most challenging course, in similar style to The Old Course and
Pinhal, although many of the fairways are bordered by dense wooded areas
making the fairways narrow. Accurate

A varying course with no 2 holes alike, Parque da Floresta was opened in
1987 and has since hosted many tournaments.
18 HOLES PAR 71 5,961m
Designed by Frank Pennink and opened in 1975. It combines the seaside
links holes with the gentle slopes of the hillside and offers glorious
views of the Atlantic from shots taken on high ground.

PAR 72 6,391m
Recently re-developed, the Old Course is widely acclaimed as the best of
the Vilamoura courses. With undulating
fairways and an abundance of umbrella pines this is a true test of
accuracy.
18 HOLES PAR 71 5,861m
Opened in 1992, this relatively new course has a beautiful setting, and
takes full advantage of the hills and valleys to make an exciting game of
golf.
18 HOLES PAR 72 6,080m
Situated 4 miles from Albufeira, Salgados incorporates 14 water hazards
making a true test of driving accuracy. This combined with the sea breeze
make Salgados a thoroughly challenging course.
18 HOLES PAR 72 6,256m
Pinhal was originally a narrow course when opened in 1976. Robert Trent
Jones Jr provided a further 9 holes, which although different in style
from the original 9 hole course,
makes this a challenging 18 hole course.

Designed in complete contrast to the other Vilamoura courses, the wide
fairways of Laguna allow golfers to tee-off with confidence, however
beware the ever-present water
hazards.

Considered by many to be the Algarves finest course, Vila sol's most
prominent feature is its narrow, undulating fairways.
This course is rich in variety, blending
two nine hole courses into one of very different contrasting character.
This should create a challenge for players of all standards.

PAR 72 6,205m Quinta do Lago/Ria Formosa are
considered to be ranked amongst the best in Europe. Quinta do Lago has
hosted many competitions in recent years including the Portuguese Open
Championships and the PGA European Tour to name a few.
Balaia Golf Village
Based on a 9-hole (all par 3) loop, the Balaia Golf Village is an ideal
course for beginners or for perfecting distance control.
Pine Cliffs
This nine hole course is one of the country's most original golf courses,
built in a pine wood at the edge of spectacular cliffs, overlooking the
beautiful beaches of the Algarve and the Atlantic beyond. |
